A Bit of BSides Memphis History: The Southwest Years (2013–2014)
Every conference has an origin story, and ours is partly a mystery we’re still piecing together.
In the early 2010s, a crew of Memphis hackers ran BSides Memphis out of Southwest Tennessee Community College. From what we can tell, they were active somewhere between 2012 and 2015, with events at Southwest in 2013 and 2014.
